AT on Smart Phones and Tablets
We have been working to make sure that Artists Toronto listings look good on smart phones and tablets such as the Apple iPad. We believe they will revolutionalize how we interact with the web. These devices will also have a big impact on how artists present their work. One point I would like to mention: All artists who have Flash based web sites should give some thought to a non-Flash alternative. Comments

Many of you may not be aware that there are many fantastic, full length, free art documentaries on the web that are simple to access if you know where to look. One great source is Here. I have personally watched most of these documentaries and they're all great. Be sure to view the Andy Warhol series. No doubt you've seen most of these videos as many of them go back several years. But like great art they stand the test of time. Take a look and please leave me a Comment on any of them. Contact us Here if you have a question or comment.
AT Gallery Shows
Artists Toronto's first gallery show opened October 3 at Arta Gallery in the Distillery District. It was an artistic and popular success as it opened on the same night as Nuit Blanche so large crowds moved through the gallery the entire night. Artists were happy to be involved in this exciting event. Artists Toronto is very interested in arranging other shows such as this in the future and to explore other ways to expand the opportunities for artists and to enrich Toronto's creative culture. Contact us if you have comments on this or other shows.

"I would like to personally thank you for the fantastic service Artists Toronto is providing for artists, galleries and art buyers. Very recently, I received an email, out of the blue, from a gallery in The Distillery District expressing interest in my work that they saw on The Artists Toronto site. This has given me an opportunity to participate in a group show opening in a few weeks. I want to express my deep appreciation for all your hard work and dedication to helping build the connections between artists and the public at large."

This is just the kind of feedback that we expect to be getting more of as galleries and the public get to know about Artists Toronto. Help spread the word.
