Jim Ireland
Jim spent most of his working life as a graphic designer, now he spends most of his time painting in his studio, which is located in the centre of Toronto. He has had three very successful solo shows, and at present is working on his fourth, which will be ready late 2009 or early 2010. "I am not the kind of artist who is found on location painting up a storm, my work is all derived from incidents and memories that surface, and I just have to get them down on canvas," says Jim.
