Stewart Jones has extensive training in the arts including a four-year associate diploma in drawing and painting from the ONTARIO COLLEGE of ART and a three-year classical animation diploma from SHERIDAN COLLEGE. Stewart has been involved in short film development, commercial illustration as well as designing album artwork for local and international musicians Wayne Petti, Cuff the Duke, Andrew Rodriguez, and the Polaris Award nominated album “IM A MOUNTAIN” for Sarah Harmer. Stewart also designed Harmer’s JUNO AWARD winning MUSIC DVD “ESCARPMENT BLUES”. Exhibitions include the Toronto Art Expo, Toronto Outdoor Show, SPEAKEASY, AWOL GALLERY’S SQ.FT (2007 PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD) and GALLERY @ 129 OSSINGTON, TORONTO . Stewart is represented in Ottawa by TERENCE ROBERT GALLERY and was apart of the inaugural ARTIST PROJECT TORONTO 2008. He lives and paints in Toronto.
