I have been an artist all of my life. Like most artists my art has moved through different styles and techniques over the years. I have always enjoyed drawing and sketching my everyday surroundings and for a long time painted in watercolour, mostly landscape and still life. My art back-ground also includes many years as a professional “creative” in the commercial art world. 

My art making has evolved into the non-representational, spontaneous outpourings represented here. These swipes and strokes represent my arrival at what feels like a truly free place where I can be in flow and create what wants to be created. 

I strive for beauty and truth and all the rest that every artist strives for and feel privileged to be able to paint with the encouragement and support of family, friends and the universe.
